I've been listening to Modest Mouse, Spice Girls, Flight of the Conchords, and the Penelope OST. Haha how random <3 I love new music!!

GOOD NEWS! I got accepted into the two universities/colleges that I REALLY wanted to go to (: New College and Uni of Miami~ So now I just have to decide, I'm really happy though :3 Getting the letter from Miami really made my day!

These next two weeks are going to be the busiest in my high school career, or so I hear. So I probably won't have much time online! I guess you could call it a hiatus~ See you guys soon <3

I've been thinking a lot about Dove and Wren's back stories which are pretty fun~ After I finish the headshots of all the major characters, I'll probably draw a few more pictures of them interacting with each other and such, so I can figure out their personalities. :3

Appearance: Shoulder hair light brown hair, one curl/bang on (right/left? haven't decided), ears pierced, usually lipstick/lip gloss, round face, looks younger than she is, always wearing conservative clothing...for the day.

Odd Trait: Break dancer. She is also at the top of her class in school.

I can't wait to draw the comic chapter for her back story!!

I want to apologize for not finishing the head shots yet! I wanted to finish by today, but obviously that didn't work ;A; I'm only halfway through, so new goal is next weekend?? Yes? <3

Unfortunately, unlike other artists, I cannot simply work for 20 minutes at time each day to finish a project. Once I start, I will get completely immersed and I won't realize that 2 or 3 hours have passed haha;; That is probably one of the reasons I don't digitally draw as much as I should. I will try to work on that!!

Along with Dove, these two were the original main characters of InfraRed, so I am particularly attached to them hehe <3 And you can see how different all these head shots are, ugh, I'm not sure if I like that or not, but once I finish the other four characters, I'll try to do one big picture with all 8 characters for a general reference.

Also, I've been really into Mushishi a lot these past few days!! It is a SPECTACULAR manga and anime series. 
I first got into it through my great friend Holly when I was visiting her this past summer, I stole the first four volumes of the manga and couldn't put them down.

And recently I've been watching the anime which is just as amazing as the manga.

The story features ubiquitous creatures called Mushi that often display supernatural powers. Mushi are described as beings in touch with the essence of life, far more basic and pure than normal living things. Due to their ephemeral nature most humans are incapable of perceiving Mushi and are oblivious to their existence, but there are a few who possess the ability to see and interact with Mushi. The Mushi depicted in the anime look very similar to floaters.

One such person is Ginko (ギンコ, Ginko^?), the main character of the series. He employs himself as a Mushi master (蟲師, mushi-shi^?), traveling from place to place to research Mushi and aid people suffering from problems caused by them. The series is an episodic anthology in which the only common elements among episodes are Ginko and the various types of Mushi. There is no over-arching plotline.

The anime isn't about romance, it isn't happy, it isn't sad, it is beautiful and mysterious and enthralling. Absolutely worth the 24mins.

So, I just stumbled across one of my friend's livejournals.... and I just don't have the courage to just tell her, "Hey, lord knows how I ended up here, but I just spent the last half hour reading your deepest thoughts! Can I watch you?!" ;A; I am such a wimp.

But, I mean, she, by that I mean her journals, really got me to thinking. I LOVE my life. I seriously could not ask for anything better. I have the BEST friends, BEST family, BEST ughh everything ;A; and I really, ugh I think I'm in tears. I really absolutely thank each and everyone one of you for everything. I love you.
And, although life is hard, and I'm not ALWAYS on top of things. And I get stressed out way to fucking much for my own good. I really couldn't be happier. 
I'll be moving away from my family this fall. I haven't really thought about it, but it will be a really big change, and... I think I'm ready. I obviously have more in life to learn, and I wanna just get out there and learn it. and be happy. and live my life. and ahhhhhh fuck everything! I'm going to Japan ASAP and finding the hottest boy and fucking him. okay scratch that. I don't have the guts to do that but hahahhaa oh god I think I'm high or something.

I've been on a roll~~ Just in the past three days I decided to make a story that I could easily turn into a comic. So that means, not a super long, plot intensive one, just with my seven-ish main characters and their day to day adventures/stories/troubles! I sketched each character last night and I'm just coloring them on photoshop now. I have my first character done!

These are the seven main characters of my story. Each has an odd trait. Some of these include, photographic memory, perfectionist baker, over-protective sibling, and obsession with clocks. Hahaa, I find their traits amusing. Hopefully I'll get the next characters out by the end of this week! I just have to color their headshots~ 
OH, and for right now... the story is called InfraRed unless you guys tell me that is a completely lame name :3
